Would India Glitz stop profiting from this kind of cheap tactics of
unnecessary stir-up? You guys know better, India Glitz. The ‘I’ movie only
portrays the character of one particular transgender. Shankar(or the movie)
did not portray the character of one transgender as the common reflection
of the whole transgender society. Some of these transgenders need to open
their eyes and see “what would have happened if Shankar used a heterosexual
or straight woman instead in the movie?” Would the the straight women in
our society protest that the movie portrayed common women as such? Everyone
in our society should use “Freedom of speech” and “Freedom to Protest”
responsibly. What the transgenders are doing in regards to this movie is
    completely unwanted stunt. ´╗┐

It is good to see the notion about transgender in india is changing
nowdays. Recent years many transgender have very good visions for their
life. My personal perception on transgender is, they are moving forward
towards good vision and better life styles. Rather exploring and
discovering their way of life, let us understand they also live along with
us.In simple words ‘A community of humans finding every min as struggle
thus, form their own world to live along their similarities’. I foresee,
all their grievance would change within a decade. Possibilities there would
also be unchanged peoples mind even after a decade. But good changes to
    their lives would definitely happen…´╗┐

HAHA! wow. When I was watching “I” in theaters on the first day show, I
KNEW IT that these people will start up a controversy over this thing.
Honestly, I respect every human being out there including transgenders, but
stop being little babies. Shanker tried to make one of his antagonists
really unique so he did. Take a comedy for god sake! The movie has nothing
to do with transgenders, and no one said anything offensive. Its just part
of the script to make it comical. Honestly, you people just want attention
and bring a blockbuster movie down, so that you can somehow get fame and
money. Cheap movie. These days people are either hating on tamil cinema for
no good reason or trying to find issues from a good film so they can get
publicity off it. Wow really really cheap. Tamil people are getting really
nasty. Anyways, this comment has nothing to offend about Transgenders, I am
saying in all in general. Some people really need to grow up!´╗┐

Bullshit. The movie was very nice. That particular character to be act that
way then only you get the villain.
We are really respect transgender. First that is very lucky to act on “I ”
movie transgendered character. Second, who ever transgender people they
have meet A lot of challenges. in their real life that’s what movie telling
us. Still some-people don’t know to transgender people was still exist in

OMG!!! you’re talking like you’re so innocent. First of all please don’t
try to be more to women. Why don’t you live the way you were born? Whoever
involved in this protest are not open minded. As you said santhanam did
make fun of transgender with the song call “Oororam Puloyamaram”. Thi song
and the movie were out in year 2006. so where do all these Transgender
gone? why don’t you guys protest again director Amir and Actor Karthik? why?

The way you describe the “HotDog” was disgusting. You don’t know anything
about sexual/anything that related to it? are you that innocent? If you are
not dirty minded than you wouldn’t take it the way you said. The funny
thing/part was you warned all the producers, directors and comedy actor
(Kollywood, bollywood), bloody hell are you joking or what? If like than
Kollywood, Tollywood, Bollywood even Hollywood should warned or threatened
by terrorist long time a go.

Is there any Transgender in other country or around the world doing the
same thing? no right. So now you guys are showing indirectly to the
Transgender around the world, how to create public nuisance and disturbance.

I strangely agree with you that everyone should be treat equally but
transgenders are over react interns of everything.

Overall the way you talked too ins’t a clean way. How you can say that Ojis
rajani was uneducated? do you know him/her earlier? Don’t try to present
that you’re so smart. Personally I think that you’re really took an
advantage of an Indiaglitz interview. you’re literally used the MIC for
    abuse everyone. Shame on you.´╗┐

I agree with Rose completely. The director could have portrayed the
character in a much more dignified way. He fell prey to the stereotypical
portrayal that too in the name of humor. Look at how well Myskin portrayed
the trans-gender character in his movie (Oonaayum Aattukuttiyum).´╗┐

I believe we should support his lady here. She is fighting for herself,
standing up for her rights. I don’t blame if people don’t understand their
plight but if we don’t understand even after they explain then seriously
something is wrong with us. Its also a problem with our mentality we as
Indians never know when to stop jocking, we don’t know how to respect
someone’s integrity. Joke is a joke until the person is ok with it the
moment a person says stop it and someone still continues it, it becomes
crossing the border. I find most people supporting shankar as either
politically motivated or roots or origin wise bonding, I request them if
they are doing that to reconsider their stand. ´╗┐

Meh was told I was going to hell by my mom and I need help blah blah blah
blah It’s getting to the point to where my whole attitude and outlook on
things is changing. And she knows how I feel about it all was told I was
going to therapy never happened… Supposedly I’m not telling her enough
but I don’t see where telling someone you’re not happy isn’t enough to try
and figure out what the hell is going on. Anyways now that I’m 16 turning
17 in April idk how to put it just the feeling of me being the way I am now
is almost like I think to myself why even live if I’m pretending to make
others happy for the sake of it. But I’m not going to try and kill myself
already been there done that at around 13. I plan on talking to her again

I wish I had shown this to my mother when I came out. I guess my
terminology wasn’t the best… but describing me as confused just made me
feel like crap. I’m almost sixteen… and I’ve felt like I was a boy since
I was very young. Just because her transgender friends had specific
experiences in common, doesn’t mean I will transition that way or have
    those experiences.
I don’t understand why she feels I must fit into a catagory, and have a
pigeon holed childhood/teenage life to be transgender. 10+ years is not a
phase and I am not confused… of only she would understand that. She has
agreed to let me see a gender therapist… but as someone who has spoken
out and supported the rights of everyone in the LGBT community, with so
many beautiful trans friends… I don’t understand why she is having such a
hard time with my wish the transition.
Thank you Skylar, maybe if she sees this it will help. ´╗┐
