New York, NY (November 16, 2009) – Centaur Entertainment, New York’s premiere dance music record label, announces the upcoming release of “Party Groove: White Party 10,” the Official benefit CD for White Party Week held in Miami from November 25-30. JustCircuit.com’s “DJ/Producer of the Year” recipient Randy Bettis has mixed the new White Party album which will be available exclusively in Miami during White Party Week, and in stores nationwide beginning December 8, including iTunes Worldwide.
Anyone who has ever been to The White Party in Miami understands the integral role DJs and music play in the overall fundraising venture. This year was no exception with spectacular parties and dance events taking place around the city at museums, clubs, poolside and the beach. Randy rejoins an exclusive group of DJs asked to play during the 2009 events, where he will headline the White Hot Leather Ball at Sea Monster on Thanksgiving Day. His first mixing appearance on the critically acclaimed White Party series becomes his 8th mix overall for Centaur.
Since 1998 Centaur has been producing benefit dance albums to help raise money for some of the most worthwhile causes in the GLBT community. The White Party CDs, which benefit Care Resource, are among Centaur’s first, boasting mixes by DJs: David Knapp, Tracy Young, Warren Gluck and Wendy Hunt. Centaur proudly welcomes Randy Bettis who shares a common goal of selling record numbers of albums to raise much needed funds.
In 2005, Randy broke through the clutter with back-to-back acclaimed performances at three of the largest dance parties in the country: Saint-at-Large New Years, The Black Party and New York’s Heritage of Pride Pier Dance. That same year his artistic performance was validated when he was named to Billboard’s nationwide panel of club DJs who create the weekly Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. In 2006, Bettis embarked on his first-ever national club tour to promote Centaur’s Gay Days CD brand, landing him the first of three consecutive “Best Circuit Tour” awards with JustCircuit.com, and a new weekly mixshow on G.I.R.L. (GayInternetRadioLive.com) and satellite broadcasts on SIRIUS Radio’s OutQ “Saturday Night Out.” Randy has also produced countless remixes under the BetBoyz moniker, with his production partner/composer/arranger David Boyd.
On “Party Groove: White Party 10,” Randy introduces us to a smorgasbord of new songs, #1 hits, #1 artists and dance remakes that blend together perfectly, creating one of the most exciting White Party mixes in the 10 volume series. Chart topping artists Vanessa Williams, Georgie Porgie, Peyton and Freemasons (today’s hottest dance duo) are household names in dance, but the newcomers David May “Superstar”, Jill Jones “Living For The Weekend” and Funk Fanatics “Love Is The Answer” make a lasting impression with their standout performances. Dance remakes of the #1 hits “Celebration”, “Paparazzi” and the classic gem “The Pressure” also infuse great energy into the blend with lyrics we can all chime into. Also featured on “Party Groove: White Party 10” are remixes from a stellar group of producers including Ralphi Rosario, Freemasons, Josh Harris, Edson Pride, Mark Picchiotti and BetBoyz.
“Party Groove: White Party 10” will be available in stores nationwide on December 8 and on iTunes worldwide. The album can also be purchased at www.centaurmusic.com and www.theoutclub.com, where you can sample each song as well as choose between a CD or a digital download of the album.

Born from fashion, entertainment and a desire to end AIDS, the White Party began in 1985 by the founders of Health Crisis Network as a fundraising venture. Over the past 25 years, the White Party has become an internationally recognized event and helped define the gay party circuit worldwide. The White Party is the largest funding source of Care Resource, the agency born in 1998 out of the merger between Health Crisis Network and Community Research Initiative.
